In November 2019, I stumbled upon an Instagram post about this box. I got really excited because it’s been years since I’ve gotten a mystery box. And this time it’s stationery related! I’ve subscribed to the BDJ Box years ago, and that was a lot of fun! 😊
The NotedJournalPH 2019 Christmas Box is worth Php 1650, but I found a coupon code for Php 100 less. And so I decided to buy the box. A major factor was the hand made vegan leather notebook cover. But down sides are that I can’t choose the color and the box will be shipped in January. But that’s okay! I waited.
Let’s see what’s inside the box starting with the NotedJournalPH items.
A5 Trifold Folio
I got the crocodile textured one in a greenish/blackish color. This is a win for me because I was anxious I’d get a color I didn’t really like. I was wishing for the Deep Sea or Sea Foam colored ones, which were in the turquoise family. 😜 Anyway, this feels good quality to me. There are 2 side pockets for stickers, small notepads and such; and a top slit for the jotter pad or something else. This will not accommodate much in my case, due to the thickness of my Archer and Olive Notebook, but it does the job it was meant for – a notebook cover.
NotedJournalPH Mesh Pouch
This is another vegan leather product. I like the pink and it’s light weight.

These are foiled washi tapes with a line of bows as the design.

This is just like a plastic photo album where you can store stickers and the likes.

I got the basil pencil and I think this is a great idea! I could have a pot of basil soon! 😉
Oh So Paperies Dreams Pen
This is an adorable ball point pen. The crystals inside remind me of kisses (aroma beads) that I put inside my pencil case when I was a kid!
Pen Master PH Frixion Ball Slim 0.38 Erasable Pen
I got a red pen. And honestly, where would I use a red pen? It does erase clean though.
IFEX A5 In The Office Jotter Pad
This is actually cool! This pad has thick paper, all blank and with a bit of texture to it. I’d totally use this for crafting and stamping!
The Sticker Doctor MNL Christmas Pack
This is my favorite sticker on this box. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use this for another 11 months! The die cut and girl on the sticker sheet is customizable to 4 different options.
Donnats with Chai Sticker Sheets
Another favorite. I am a sucker for stickers with girls on them, different clothes, different emotions, etc. I also love the illustrations on this one.
Saidie and Me Sticker Sheets
Also one of my favorites. I love the moods sticker sheet. The bottom right one is foiled in gold. I would definitely buy from this store in the future.
Abbey Sy Stickers
I am a fan of Abbey Sy coz she’s so talented. So these were a delight!
Rainbow Papeterie Sticker Sheet
As mentioned, I’m a sucker for this kind of stickers. I like it. 🙂
Kate Paints Christmas Sticker Sheet
This is a good one too, but I wish this box came in December so I could have used these stickers!

This one I really liked also just because the foil is turquoise in color! 😜
Crafted.by.J Rainbow Gradient Stickers
Ah. I don’t understand this one. Based on the Instagram account, this shop makes/prints stickers of different kinds, even personalized ones. So why the plain rainbow gradient? A mini sticker sheet with any kind of print would have made me happier. Don’t come for me. Just my opinion. 🙂 I know this was a sponsor so it was their decision.

Paperworks Stationery
This is another one I couldn’t understand. First, a lanyard with ABCs? Okay. The tiny cards with envelopes looked like they were from 10 years ago. And I’m not exaggerating. The envelopes were stained yellow and the cards were stuck on the envelopes (seen on video). The greeting cards were okay. Very random bunch of things in my opinion. The sticker flakes were hand cut and that was it. If you look at this store, it’s selling authentic Taiwanese and Japanese items, so I’m not sure where all of these things came from. I’m at a loss really. 😳 But hey, these were technically free. I have no right to complain….
Overall, I feel that this box was worth the cost. The sponsored items were a bit hit and miss at least for my taste and style, but I’m still happy. 😃 I might just buy another one of these in the future. 👍🏻
