Hello lovelies!
Just before valentines, there was a hot air balloon fiesta in Clark, Pampanga. I’ve always wanted to go to watch – maybe even ride one. But before I had the time to search for the date, it had already happened! So maybe next year I will plan ahead… really ahead!
With that, I decided to make my March theme – hot air balloons! I had so much fun doing this layout. I wanted a more cohesive look because the past months were all over the place.
Since this is my first bullet journal, I play around with different layouts or formats until one good one sticks!
Here’s my Cover Page. I made this after I finished some of the spreads, and by then, there were a lot of ghosting on the pages! So I decided to use a watercolour paper to draw out this cover page. I’m still undecided if I’m coloring this in, but for now, it stays like this.
This is my Habit Tracker and Menu Planner. I combined my Bible reading tracker and the rest of things I wanted to track. This way, I have some space to doodle and it looks neater. I also color coded the categories for easier tracking. The menu planner has the same format as last month’s – I just added a color legend for when we have food delivered or when we’re eating out especially on weekends. I want to see how often that happens so we could make different arrangements.
The next pge is my Monthly Log. As I said before, I use this to list all the events and tasks I need to do. I want to see everything in one page rather than flipping through different pages. This spread also includes a to-do list, blog ideas, baking ideas and birthdays for the month. Then I just wrote a short quote on the side to fill the blank space. I also changed up the calendar to a vertical format instead of a horizontal one. Let’s see how this one turns out!
These next few pages are my weekly logs. Since February, I forced myself to journal everyday. This is useful for when I write about what I learned in that day’s Bible reading passages. One page is equivalent to a week, with the week number indicated on top. I also added a Mood Tracker – I will be coloring in the date everyday to indicate the mood I was in. I used a recently bought stencil set to draw out the dates. I used washi tape to indicate the days of the week. You can read more about my washi tape collection in an earlier post.
Here are the products I used to complete this March spread:
• Tombow Dual Brush Pens: 620, N95, 800, 451, 090
• Pigma Micron: 003, 01, 02
• Uni Pin Fineliners: 01, 02, 03, 06
• Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen: Hard Tip
• Zebra Mildliners: Red, Brown
• Maped Compass
• Washi Tape
• Stencil
I hope you liked my March theme. I am always trying to improve my drawings and calligraphy. Hope you get to share your own creations to me as well through my social media.
