Hello lovelies! It’s been a minute since my last post! And I’m very happy to be getting back to my old routine after dealing with a family emergency in most of 2024.
One of my goals for 2025 is to be more intentional about the things I do, including my hobbies! And that brings me to decorating and writing postcards for Postcrossing and having a mindset of quality over quantity.
Not that I haven’t been doing that before, but I get very excited at times, then quickly get overwhelmed by the amount of cards I have to write, that how I decorate or what I write on the postcards become repetitive and routinely. Now, I’d rather send a few cards at a time and make them all special than request addresses in “bulk” and send mediocre cards — at least based on my standards.
I also try to meet the recipient’s request for what type of card they want to receive. If in the rare case that I don’t have any, I base it off from their interests or the cards on their Favorites list. And although this does not mean I will also get cards from my wish list, at least I will make someone else happy!

One big challenge for me, actually, is when I have to send cards to men who want cards with trains, cars, pin up girls or something with a niche topic. Postcards are already scarce in the Philippines. Finding these types of cards is close to impossible! And so, I make it up on stamps and decorations instead.
I hope these cards find their way to their intended recipients safely. Happy Postcrossing!
