Hello lovelies! How is everything wherever you are? 🙂
Today, I’m sharing with you my November Bullet Journal Setup. This is actually a Part 2 of my Capital Cities Theme that I did in July. Usually at this time of the year, we’re preparing for a major travel outside the country and since we still can’t travel outside the country, I’ll be day dreaming about traveling for now.
For the COVER PAGE, I chose the capital city of Israel, Jerusalem. This city has a rich history to say the least and it really brings a lot of interest to me. I hope to one day go on the Holy Land Tour that our church offers, which includes this city.
My CALENDAR features the city of Stockholm in Sweden. I like that this city isn’t full of skyscrapers and that the architectural styles are a mix of the different eras in the country’s history. It would also be amazing to ride the “world’s longest art gallery” or at least visit a few train stations and admire the art that’s there.
Next is my HABIT TRACKER. Instead of the usual side by side trackers, I dedicated one whole page for this and this features the city of Bern in Switzerland. The country, in general, is very beautiful and picturesque. So this is a no brainer. I also added a travel quote that I liked on this page.
“To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.”Bill Bryson
The MOOD TRACKER features the city of Reykjavic, Iceland. Seeing the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis is on my bucket list and although there are other places where this can be seen as well, Iceland, in my opinion, is still the best place to be. Also included another short travel quote in this page.
“Every man can transform the world from one of monotony and drabness to one of excitement and adventure.”Irving Wallace
WEEK 1 features the city of Athens in Greece. Fascinated by Greek Mythology, Blue and White houses, beautiful beaches and My Big Fat Greek Wedding! Just some of the things that makes me want to visit this country.
WEEK 2 features the city of Delhi in India. We were once invited to attend a wedding in India, but it was so last minute that after trying to plan the trip, it proved to be very costly. And so, I’m looking forward to that future trip. I’ve been interested in seeing the Taj Mahal ever since I learned about it in school plus the culture is very very different from what I’m used to. Should be interesting.
WEEK 3 features the city of Moscow in Russia. Another item on my bucket list is to ride the Trans-Siberian Railway and/or the Trans-Mongolian Railway. I’ve never experienced a loooong train ride before so this is probably one for the books. The Russian language is also a mystery to me and that what makes it even more compelling. This weekly is probably my favorite among this bunch – simply because of how the cathedral looks like and it’s not your ordinary rectangular building shapes all around.
WEEK 4 features the city of Helsinki in Finland. I remember a TV commercial in the 90s about this milk product claiming to make children smarter – as is with a lot of milk products these days. The mom in the ad was asking her child what the capital of Finland is and the child excitedly answered, “Helsiki!” I didn’t know what Helsinki or Finland or even capitals are back then, but it certainly is somewhere I want to go to someday!
And there you go! There’s way more countries I want to visit and I can only include so much. A part 3 maybe?! 😜 Honestly, this batch took too long to finish drawing and I dreaded the minute details and even questioned why I was putting myself through this! LOL In the end, I think it’s still worth all the work and effort.
NOTE: All these illustrations are based on Vectors and I’m not claiming them as my own.
