NYX Beauty Haul.

Don and I went to Megamall last Sunday. I have been wanting to buy NYX make up products for 2 weeks now. I just wanted to let the excitement “die down” so I don’t splurge more than I should.

I have also been reading and watching product reviews online to make sure it will be worth it.

I came into the store and I was immediately overwhelmed by the hundreds of products on display.

I decided to ask a salesperson so I wouldn’t need to keep testing the products I don’t really need. It must have been the easiest and quickest make up purchase ever. Coz I just tell him what I need and he would automatically tell me which shade would fit me.  I tested them out of course, but again, he’s on point!

NYX DARK CIRCLE CONCEALER CORRECTEUR in Light/Pale DCC02. This one I absolutely adore!  It really hides the dark spots under my eyes in an instant! It is quite expensive for such a small quanitity, but the results are almost perfect! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

NYX WONDER STICK in Universal Color WS04.  The salesperson warned me about this – that the lighter part of the stick will serve as a highlighter and not really to “contour” the face. I hope I listened… coz everytime I used this, I look like I smeared chalk and glitter on my face!  I am still learning how to contour, but this product might not be the best choice. 👎🏻

NYX BLOTTING POWDER in Medium-Dark BLP03. This blotting powder is okay. I’m not the retouching-all-throughout-the-day kind of person so I use this to set my make up. It gives me a natural look, not oily at all! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

NYX COLOR CORRECTING CREAM in GREEN. I thought I bought the primer, but maybe I was wrong. Anyways… I have hyper sensitive skin, especially on the face. So having red spots is quite an everyday thing for me. This product helped reduce the appearance of the redness on my cheeks, nose and chin. I am amazed! Color correcting has changed my life! Hahaha 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

And the best news of all, my face has not reacted to the products negatively. No breakouts or allergies!  Let’s see how this goes in the long run. 😀

Update 12/22/2016: In this photo I used 3 out of the 4 products listed in this entry. I really don’t like the Wonder Stick, and found a different contouring kit. And as you can see, under eye puffiness and discoloration and redness on the face are barely noticeable, thanks to color correcting items!  I needed to apply a few coatings to achieve the result I wanted, but essentially, it served its purpose.
